Livestock Shipping

Livestock can be shipped via three methods or picked up in Southern Sydney. The three shipping methods include Airport to Airport (best method), Overnight or same day Courier and Express Post.

  1. Airport to Airport is the most reliable shipping method we use. For a flat rate of $49 per box (1 box can fit 10-20 corals) we drop the your order off at Sydney airport and it will arrive at your closest major airport that afternoon for you to pickup.This shipping method can be sent out Monday to Friday so if needed please specify a day that suits you. You will be provided all the details required to succesfully meet your order at the airport including consignment number, flight number and ETA.If you order includes a live rock, $49 will be charged per box due to weight .(Additional charges may apply to Broome, Darwin, Mackay, Perth and Newman Airports depending on final weight)
  2. The second most reliable method of shipping is Courier. Orders can be sent to locations listed below for either same or next day delivery. (Recipient must be available for delivery; Aus Frags is not responsible if no one is available at time of delivery). Same Day Delivery: Suburbs within Sydney. Next day delivery: Wollongong, Central Coast, Nowra, Kiama, Newcastle,  Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Canberra, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Gold Coast & Melbourne.
  3. With Express Post we currently are only able to post to areas throughout Australia that fall within the next day areas. Please have a look at the Australia Post website to see if your postcode is within the guaranteed next day delivery areas before making any Livestock purchases.   4. Local Pick up is also available within Sydney. Once your order has been placed we will contact you with our address and organise a time that suits you.
Livestock is only posted Monday-Wednesday as a precaution against the items being stuck in the 'postal system' over the weekend. 
 

Dry Good Shipping

Drygood can be sent depending on size and weight by Courier or Australia Post Regular and Express methods. Insurance is also available for Australia Post. Postage times vary depending on location.

Local Pick up is also available within Sydney. Once your order has been placed we will contact you with our address and organise a time that suits you.

Livestock Guarantee (DOA Policy)

If your coral does not arrive alive and make it past the first 24 hours in a healthy and established aquarium, we will gladly give you livestock credit for the purchase price of the item(s) lost. (Creidits are valued for 30 days and do not cover shipping costs).

For the rare occurrence in which the livestock you ordered does not survive, you must notify us within 24 hours and supply a digital photo of the specimen. Depending on the situation we may also request a sample of water.

Water Parameters:
Tank's water chemistry must be within the following parameters:
  • Temperature: between 24-28 degrees C and constant
  • pH: 8.1 - 8.3
  • Specific Gravity: 1.020 - 1.025
  • Ammonia: 0.0 ppm
  • Nitrite: 0.0 ppm
  • Nitrate: 0.0 - 20 ppm

Guarantee does not cover Invertebrates and Fish.
